Filing to run for office?

Welcome to the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Becoming a Candidate Document System. This system allows you to download or request receipt of election filing documents from the Office of the Secretary of State the fastest way possible in Kentucky. When you are finished, you will have obtained all of the necessary documents for filing with the Office of the Secretary of State. If the office you are seeking requires filing at the office of the County Clerk, you will receive a summary sheet and sample forms of required documents.
